Come Back, I Want To Refresh You!

Sin DISCONNECTS us from God. Confessions RECONNECT us back to God.

Longman Dictionary defines “Guilt” as the unhappy feeling caused by knowing or thinking you have done something very wrong.

We feel guilty when we sin and when we sin, we disobey our Father in Heaven by going against His will for us but it is okay to feel guilty about your wrongdoings. It shows that you have a conscience but it is not good to hold on to your guilts believing you are a Failure because you did a terrible thing against the Lord.

Holding on to guilt is like holding on to a bad habit! No matter how good you want to be, your bad habits keep surfacing and this hinders any change from being possible and that’s why you need to let go of your guilts because letting go of your guilts by asking God to forgive your sins makes it possible for you to live a Life in Christ – the G.O.O.D LIFE you are meant to be experiencing.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:31)

Your  enemy, the Devil doesn’t want you to let go of those guilts, he doesn’t want you to enjoy the good life God has to offer. He wants to keep you entrapped in a cage taunted by your guilts, handcuffed by Sin and enslaved by Him! BUT THAT IS NOT THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOU.

The will of God for us is this:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:19)

God wants to break our chains! He wants to set us free from our bondage only if we CONFESS.

God desires to start afresh with us, START AGAIN. He wants us to return to Him, return to his Arms, return to his Love but our refusal to forgive ourselves, to let go of our guilts, to run back to God can stop all this from happening!

Call on God’s name today! Don’t be afraid that he won’t listen. Although you may be far, his ears are not blocked. He is God,  he hears you perfectly if you call and cry unto Him asking for the forgiveness of your sins, admitting you are a sinner and telling him how sorry you are.

Like a Father forgives his Son or Daughter when he or she offends him, GOD WILL FORGIVE YOU!

For it says: For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13)- so trust in God and break loose from your Captivity.

I will like to feed your Soul with a verse to conclude this write-up. This bible verse  expresses how much God wants us back with him.

“O Isreal, come back! Return to your God!

You are down but you are not out.

Prepare your Confession

And come back to God”

Hosea 14:1

So friends, let us come back and be refreshed!
