The Leader and His Time. Lessons from Oswald Sanders’ Book, Christian Leadership

“The character and career of a young person are determined largely by how and with whom he spends his spare time.

Each moment of the day is a gift from God and should be husbanded with miserly care, for time is life measured out for us to work.”

However, as a leader, God might interrupt your day and rearrange it the way he deems fit:

“To the alert Christian, interruptions are only divinely interjected opportunities.”

Therefore, when people come to us, let us pay and find out why they came our way.

God has a plan for each life. It is therefore your duty as a leader to find out the details of that plan and arrange the work accordingly.

Let’s use our time more wisely, redeeming the time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).

You could do a little more reading within the time you spend doing things that cannot be accounted for.

1. In what ways have you been mismanaging your time?
2. How can you use your time more wisely?
