I’m #CHAP!

chapmeThere are two hash tags you’ll be seeing me use for a really long time. – #la187 and #CHAP.

These would form the foundation of my walk with God in this year.

#la187 L– Learning, A – Applying 187 – 187 days of reading through the Old Testament.

#la187 has been a big blessing to my life. as it gives my spiritual life plenty of focus. More so, I see lives daily blessed just from reading God’s word via the #la187 program. My #la187 family have been awesome as well!

Among the many goodies I have imbibed from reading God’s word is this understanding – The law was too difficult; Grace had to step in.

Thing is: Grace is presented in such a simple manner: believe and confess and you are saved! Rom 10:9-10.

Now 2 Corinthians 5:21 adds that,

21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [[a]endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. (AMP version)

21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (NIV)

Now this is really fresh. Christ didn’t just receive our sin, He became sin.
And we, in turn, didnt just receive the righteousness of God, we became the righteousness of God when we received Christ.

Now to cut a long story short, CHAP now means.CComplete in Christ. “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” Col 2:10

HHoly in the sight of God. “We have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ.” Hebrews 10:10
AAccepted in the Beloved. “he has made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:6
PPerfect in Christ.”For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Heb 10:14

So friend, I don’t want to preach.

I’m CHAP!

I’m CHAP!

I’m CHAP!

I’m CHAP!

I’m CHAP!

You must say it until you believe it. Shout it, pray it, thank it! You are CHAP! I didn’t say so. God’s Word says so!

Our minds cannot grasp this idea, we must force it in!

But whether it grasps it or not, I’m CHAP – Complete, Holy, Accepted, Perfect in Christ.

Share the good news!
