#Dosomething: Something To Say.

Do you ever feel there is so much to say to a loved one that you never can say it all?

Your heart beats faster whenever your beloved is around.

Your plans well up in your head and you just want to pour it out but you can’t at that particular moment?

So it has been with me recently.

I always have a lot to discuss. How this, how that…

But never get to fully discuss them because of the means of communication. Sometimes via phone, other times via whatsapp.

When we see, however, I would have already forgotten.

Today is a very good day. When you read my book and you read a description of a day so exceptional, know that it is today.

The sun is shining, the breeze is gentle. All that comes to your mind is: ‘take a walk … and with a loved one’.

As always, I write hello, she writes hi and the loving continues, but this time she is in class and can’t type much.

“I have so much to tell you but no time,” I write her.

“Oh love, write it down, so you don’t forget.”

I wrote them down : )

Yesterday, I went into a bookshop in the centre of Moscow. A world of books. Of all kinds. From Dostoyevsky to Stephen King. Any and every. I couldn’t move for 4 hours.

And then I thought to myself. We have access to the words of those great men, only because they wrote them down.

Books are thoughts. Nothing more, nothing less.

St Augustine of Hippo wrote what he called, ‘confessions’. Charles Spurgeon wrote Sermons and Devotionals. Fyodor Dostoyevskii, Austen Jane, Tolstoy et al wrote their ideas down.

You have something in you. Don’t let the next generation miss out on the beautiful ideas God has given you.

Do Something, today!

Enjoy a fine weekend friends!
