Normally, I drive very fast. But on Sunday, I surpassed myself. In truth God simply had mercy on me, and there was no catastrophe on the road, except the car needed to be fixed.
The thing is, I now have to pay for my reckless driving and well the mechanic will have food on his table because of me.
I could attribute my rough driving to many factors but I choose to take full responsibility for my actions.
I was impatiently careless on Sunday. I am sorry. I repent. I will be more careful when I’m behind the wheel.
Sometimes, we drive very rough on life’s road. We make some decisions that are very unlike us. Decisions, which have the capacity to cripple our destiny, or even make us a danger to other road users, but for grace.
While the car is at the mechanic’s, we ought to think through our modus vivendi. We ought to retrace our steps and decide to always watch our speed, making sure we are keeping to the rules that are there to keep us safe.
Thankfully, the car is fixed and I can take it for a spin, again. Some real good news that!
If you have damaged your vehicle of life (body) because you drove recklessly in the past, I pray you receive total healing and become whole again.
Finally, say NO to rough driving!
