In case you are wondering, I am not the Oga at the top.
Well, the phrase, ‘Oga at the top’ went viral recently when a certain public official insisted that he would not give a comment on a particular subject without confirmation from his ‘oga at the top’. Oga, here means ‘boss’. Even though the said phrase has received all kinds of reactions, from negative to positive, I appreciate it for two reasons.
Firstly, its comic relief: God seemed (and still seems) to use it to add more laughter to a good number of us.
Secondly, It automatically brought to life the already established fact that God is the ‘Oga at the top’ and thus I must always seek his consent before embarking on any assignment, big or small, if I am to be successful at it.
In Genesis 25, God clearly showed that He is the real Boss when He said, “The older will serve the younger.” Whatever he says stands.
This encourages me to daily renew my relationship with Him, as whatever the ‘Oga At The Top’ has said concerning me will surely come to pass.
The ‘Oga at the top’ loves you, and has said something good concerning you!
I hope this will be the last time you’ll read the phrase, ‘Oga at the Top’ on www.ike-amadi.com
