last summer, my family decided to surprise me with a detached self-contained apartment set in the compound with the main house. The house was fresh. How much more privacy can one ask for?
I settled in, had my keys handed to me and it felt like my moscow home again.
That summer passed and this summer came. I so looked forward to coming home.
The airport ride was good. very good. My elder brother alongside my mum came to the airport to pick me up. Totally fresh.
On getting home, however, and unlocking the door, I observed that another wall existed. I wondered how it came to be. One year is a long time but not long enough to forget how one’s room looks like.
There now exists another wall – an in-betweener – to create something like a bedroom and a sitting-room.
I really don’t know what to think of this new wall.
