I asked my friend, “who discovered river Niger?” He couldn’t answer 🙂 jogging in the moon light round areas in the neighborhood I haven’t passed through on foot is usually exciting. Very! And on such days I feel like Mungo Park when he discovered the Niger.
Of all the reasons why I enjoy jogging, the most exciting reason is that I get to think clearly while jogging. Often times, I jog in groups. When, however, my boys are lazy or too tired to jog, I take off alone. As captain of my football team, I have to be very fit, both mind and body so that my boys can be confident and I can make the right decisions on the pitch without losing energy.
Today, I went jogging alone. While jogging through new routes, I was happy at the fact that I was both exercising my body as well as enjoying the cool breeze of nature. I got to a point and an interesting thought came to my already relaxed mind.
‘Soon I’ll not be jogging alone. I will not only be accompanied by the kids, a couple of cars will be moving slowly by the side, should any of the kids get tired.’
I thought that was some fresh vision or revelation. Perhaps it was a prophecy. Whatever it was, I think it to be a good thing. Immediately, I started speaking in other tongues, whilst laughing energetically at the kind of thoughts that come to my fresh mind.
I decided to document it, so that when the prophecy comes to pass, we will have a reason to look back and remember this day!
