My Diary of Gratitude.

Early this year, my friend Aimee Crowl introduced me to a concept that changed my life. She had me promise to write the things I’m grateful for, everyday of 2014.

January 5, I made my first entry into my diary of gratitude, albeit perfunctory. For some days however, I wasn’t able to enter my grateful moments till the next day. Two days ago, it dawned on me how much writing my diary of gratitude has changed my life, thanks to Aimee.

I now look forward to writing the events of my day for which I am grateful, as it opens my eyes to the many blessings: blessings of Protection, of favor, of great people I meet during the course of my day.

I took it a step further. At the start of my day, I make entries for which I hope to be grateful e.g I’m grateful because today is going to be an awesome day. I am grateful because Mr. X is going to let me see him and list goes on. It is amazing, at the end of the day to find out that I actually got to do the things for which I was already grateful.

Try keeping a diary of gratitude and share with me what beautiful experiences you will have!

As for me, I’ll not stop keeping a diary of gratitude.
