Doubt is the enemy within you.
The most dangerous voice in your life is the one that expresses doubt in god’s will for your life.
Doubt instantly disqualifies you for greatness.
7 Things About Doubt:
- Doubt enters through hearing opinions contradictory to the word of God.
Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. But the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.
Mark 4:15, 19
- Doubt enters through discussing memories of your past failures.
The man said, “Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and thought, “What I did must have become known.”
- Doubt enters by wrong friendships and associations speaking into your life.
That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness!
- Doubt is contagious.
And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
- Something you keep hearing is deciding something you keep believing.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
- Doubt enters by the absence of godly men speaking into your life.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
“ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boyʼs father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
- Doubt is replaced easily with faith in the presence of God.
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
