Success is arriving at the place where you have determined to arrive – your vision.
God commands us to establish the goals that lead to our vision.
You must plan your work, and work your plan.
PLANNING IS FAITH; FAITH IS PLANNING.
Faith is the substance of things that you hope to accomplish. Faith is the ability to see things in detail and give it substance.
The ability to document the future is faith. God is a god of faith. Faith is belief in God’s promises, being certain of what we do not see. Faith demands a plan.
I’m not convinced that you are serious about living, until I see your plan. God has a plan for you, but he does not plan for you.
Planning is the highest expression of faith. If God tells you to do something, and you do not document a plan to do it, you don’t believe it.
Planning is the act of capturing God’s will for your life. Planning gives definition to faith, it puts the promises of God on paper.
Planning documents vision.
I am not impressed by how great your vision is; let me see your plan.
Without a vision, the people perish. Without a vision there is no self-control; without a plan there is no goal control.
Planning without work is failure. Planning and working with God is a natural. God plans and he works.
God’s purposes produce plans, and his plans produce work.
Plans are Changeable
What do you do when your plans fail?
Change your plan.
Plans are changeable; but not your purpose. Failing to fulfill your plan does not mean you are out of God’s will. The first one to fail in the Bible is God – Adam messed up; God’s plan failed. But God changed the plan.
Don’t be afraid to change your plan to keep your purpose. You only lose when you quit.
You must estimate what your plan will take. You must be willing to die for what you are living for.
God respects plans
Gen 11: 6
The LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.”
They planned it and God got concerned.
When man plans something, it makes heaven tremble.
IF you want to move up in your job, solve the next problem for your boss. A planner will always be promoted. A planner is a visionary, and a visionary is a self-motivated person, and that’s the kind of person that gets promoted.
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
Desires are in your heart and God gets your plans to succeed. A plan is a documented desire. We must write our vision on paper.
Proverbs 16:1 – To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the proper answer of the tongue. NIV
It is your duty to plan; God will explain how it will be accomplished.
Write it down; don’t be afraid of how much it will cost. What do you see? What is that dream that won’t leave you alone?
Proverbs 16:2 – All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the LORD NIV
Check your motives. God’s plans are always geared towards helping people get better.
Proverbs 16:3 – Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Write down your plans and they will succeed. NIV
Proverbs 16:4 – The LORD works out everything to its proper end– even the wicked for a day of disaster. NIV
The Lord works out everything for his purpose.
Proverbs 16:5-6 – The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. NIV
Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD evil is avoided.
Don’t do anything unjust while working on your plan.
Proverbs 16: 7 – When the LORD takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. NIV
God will make your enemies to be on your side, even to fulfill your plan.
Proverbs 16:8 – Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice. NIV
Your plan must not lead you to sin.
Proverbs 16:9 – A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. KJV
God will direct your steps once you have a plan. If you have no plan, God has nothing to direct.
You say, “O God bless me!”
And God asks, “Over what?”
If you are going in no direction, God cannot lead you.
If you want God to lead you, make a plan!
Planning involves sitting down. Sit back and write a 15 year plan according to your vision.
Sit down and work out a 15 year plan according to the vision in your heart.
Let us know if this blessed you.
