“But we have so many churches,” I argued.
To which she answered,
“There are also people heaping up pastors with itching ears. It’s not new, what of Jehoshaphat? What of Jeremiah 28? What is highly esteemed amongst men is an abomination to God. Luke 16:15b. So these many churches doesn’t mean it’s God’s word! Try every Spirit! Discern!!
So my brother, remember we are not moved by numbers. God is still asking if He will find faith when He returns. It’s the same convictions patriarchs of the faith died for,the same gospel Peter was crucified upside down for. Does that sound like leisure?
The gospel is a force like water bursting out of a dam. We can’t have experienced God and have the promise it offers and not share. It’s wicked. I’m speaking to myself too in every way. Yes, our lives will preach, but we must speak. When last did we pray without giving up for someone to be saved?
Isn’t this the same gospel people prayed with tears for their loved ones to be saved. In the name of political correctness, we endorse inclusion.
I repent for the times I have treated the gospel lightly. Something that Jesus died for isn’t a joke.
Heaven doesn’t rejoice until a soul is saved. So the question is how often do I work to meet God’s need and make heaven rejoice?
Am I truly meeting God’s need? Yes so many churches but what is their agenda? Oftentimes, God’s word is in the minority. A still small voice.
A Prayer For Grace And Utterance.
That we may always have a sense of urgency to do your work whilst it is day. Give us your burden for souls and insight to share your word
This generation may not listen to Spurgeon sermons, but we with the revelation will speak the same words to them by your Spirit. Inspire us!
Give us a depth of your word and utterance that is relevant to this generation. We want to be soul winners…we want to meet your needs.
In Jesus name! Amen
So we will labour in the word, encourage others to do same and together, we will win the nations for Jesus. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. “
Will you join my sister and I to labor for the gospel?
