One thing I have learned about making stew is that you must be patient in order to make sure the tomato sauce is well fried. Sometimes, you stand by in order to stir it in the hot oil. If you don't, you might not get that fresh taste you desire.
Few men there be who have consistently inspired and propelled me forward; one of such great men is Onyinyechukwu. ‘Onyinye’ in Igbo means gift, and ‘Chukwu’ means God. Therefore Onyinyechukwu would mean Gift of God. And this is what he is to us who have known him these years.
Onyinye’s words are carefully chosen for impact; which corroborates his favorite Bible verse,
He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.
Proverbs 13:3 NKJV
My family and I have benefited and still do benefit from his words of advice and open hand. Onyinye is indeed a good man.
Now let us observe a few points from Onyine’s life as his friends see him.
Spencer (Houston, USA) says Onyinye is a
fun, straight up guy, supportive, determined.
Eric (Lagos, Nigeria) had a prayer for him,
Onyinye, you always motivate me even to a fault. You go the extra mile to make sure I do what is needful to move forward. Such persons like you, who make other people’s progress their business, are very rare.
Therefore, I take this day to salute your selflessness and determination to see others succeed. You will not lack helpers in any area of your life in Jesus name. I pray that God will bless the works of your hands in Jesus name.
Happy birthday brother!
Eric and Onyinye have known each other for at least 12 years!
Ibk (Houston, USA) also said,
Onyinye is a hardworking brother. He is very focused and dedicated to whatever he chooses to do. I wish him many happy returns of the day and lots of God’s blessings for years to come.
Thank you Ibk.
We had to reach out to Dare Aliu a.k.a Dre Moscow (Lagos, Nigeria) to hear how he would describe Onyinye, and here are his words,
Onyinye was my personal tutor in MEI at NO COST, he just wanted to see me succeed .
He is kind, he is a jovial young man who God has blessed.
I am proud of the man he has become and pray for his future to be brighter than he expects.
Amen and amen.
We can go on and on to extol his many golden virtues, and we will not do so without hearing from Bankole, with whom he lived while sojourning Moscow Power Engineering Institute for his undergraduate program in electrical engineering.
Bankole (Lagos, Nigeria) put it this way:
Onyinye is goal-oriented and very determined.
And he instructed me further to,
“Remember to talk about his large and good heart. He is a kind person. I still can’t figure out how a person could be so kind.”
Thank you Bankole.
I had to borrow words from his friends because my words alone cannot describe the largeness of his heart. What I really liked was that these great men replied within minutes of reaching out to them. They didn’t have to search for the words.
They know Onyinye well.
Aha! Onyinye loves to travel! This man has been everywhere. From Euro tour to American tour, to Israel to UK. He’s been everywhere. When last I was at his Dallas home, he said, “Ike you’re close to Europe – go on a Euro tour.”
Nike (NYC, USA) also had a word for Onyinye,
“Happy birthday Onyinye! Wish you the best of God this new year… thank you for being such an awesome person and beautiful friend!!! Many blessings!”
I need to hang out with Onyx more. There’s still a great lot I can learn from him.
Thank you for being who you are, and doing what you do.
From the depth of my heart, I say happy birthday and God’s blessings in this new season! My wife already can’t wait to see you in Dallas!
